Students’ Motivation in Completing English Assignments in Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic

This research aimed to identify students’ levels and the types of motivation that they apply most completing their English assignments in online learning at class X SMAN 1 Sajingan Besar academic year 2020-2021. The researcher conducted descriptive collected data using a questionnaire given 68 students. first result revealed for was middle category 70.23%. Meanwhile, second showed type students applied extrinsic motivation, with 73,68%. majority conditions contributing students' were related feeling guilty, being aware need improve skills, proud when it on time. Then, influenced intrinsically by feelings satisfaction enjoyment. However, amotivation also occurred because lack awareness vocabulary mastery. These findings suggest that, even though quite high, had have intrinsic complete interest, enjoyment, satisfaction. teacher parents must support harder help them learning.
